Kim Kardashian is opening up about her latest fashion collaboration with celebrity stylist Law Roach, revealing how their long-awaited professional partnership finally came together. The Skims founder discussed working with the renowned image architect at the New York City premiere of All’s Fair Season 2 on Monday, November 2, sharing how she has sought his fashion advice over the years and why she decided it was the right time to collaborate.

Speaking at the premiere, Kim Kardashian explained that she has always worked with a team of talented stylists but enjoys exploring new creative perspectives and evolving her personal style. She also highlighted her long-standing relationships with designers and said she wanted to bring Roach’s expertise into the mix.

“I work with a group of amazing stylists, depending on what that is, and you want to grow and evolve and try new things,” Kim Kardashian said. She added that she had worked with several talented designers and maintained personal relationships with many of them, but wanted to expand her fashion approach by getting Roach’s perspective.

Kim Kardashian also praised Roach’s extensive knowledge of fashion and revealed that their professional relationship had been developing naturally for years. According to the reality star, she would frequently contact him through FaceTime while shopping in stores to seek his advice on different outfits and styling choices.

“He’s an amazing stylist and he has such knowledge,” Kim Kardashian said. “I loved hanging out with him over the years, and I would always FaceTime him when I was in a store shopping, so we’ve always waited for our moment, and this is our moment together.”

The reality star confirmed that Roach was responsible for styling her look for the New York premiere of All’s Fair Season 2. For the occasion, Kardashian wore a custom gown designed by Ashi Studio, further highlighting the fashion direction of their new partnership. When asked about her experience working with the stylist, she simply responded, “He’s the best.”

The collaboration first became publicly evident on September 19, when Kim Kardashian attended the opening night of the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art wearing an archival gown from Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall 2004 collection. Following the appearance, Roach took to social media and referred to Kardashian as his “new client,” effectively confirming their professional relationship.

Since then, the pair have continued making notable fashion statements throughout the promotional tour for All’s Fair Season 2. Kim Kardashian has increasingly embraced archival fashion, dramatic silhouettes and distinctive designer creations, with several of her recent appearances attracting attention for their carefully curated looks.

At the Rome premiere of the Hulu drama on October 25, Kim Kardashian stepped out in a corseted polka-dot ensemble by Galia Lahav. The striking gown was particularly notable because the designer had presented it less than two weeks earlier at New York Bridal Fashion Week. The appearance demonstrated the pair’s interest in incorporating contemporary designer pieces alongside more established fashion references.

Her Rome appearance came a day after she attended the Rome Film Festival in a vintage leopard-print gown from Yves Saint Laurent’s Fall 1986 haute couture collection. Kim Kardashian also made a statement at the Academy Museum Gala on October 17, choosing a pink-and-white strapless Balenciaga gown dating back to 1951. The look reflected an Old Hollywood-inspired aesthetic, adding another archival fashion moment to her recent appearances.

Roach’s appointment brings Kim Kardashian into the creative world of one of the fashion industry’s most recognised celebrity image architects. He has previously worked with several major names, including Ariana Grande and Celine Dion, but is particularly celebrated for his long-standing collaboration with Zendaya. Their partnership became widely recognised for its character-inspired approach to red carpet dressing, with fashion choices often reflecting the themes, personalities and creative concepts behind Zendaya’s projects.

The stylist has also shared his thoughts about working with Kim Kardashian. Speaking at the InStyle Imagemaker Awards, Roach discussed their new professional relationship in an interview with People, describing the reality star as someone who is both receptive to creative ideas and comfortable expressing her personal preferences.

“She is such a beautiful person and nice and easy [to work with],” Roach said. He further explained that Kim Kardashian knows what she wants but also gives him the freedom to bring his own creative vision to their styling collaborations.

With Kim Kardashian’s interest in experimenting with fashion and Roach’s reputation for creating memorable celebrity looks, their partnership is already producing a series of distinctive red carpet appearances. Their shared history and established rapport also suggest that the collaboration is built on more than a professional arrangement, with years of fashion conversations and styling advice leading up to this moment.
